Next Steps: How to enter your video
After reading “Getting started with your video”, create a 2-5 minute video featuring a Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame inductee.
1. Upload to YouTube: Set the privacy to “Unlisted.”
2. Submit: Copy and paste the YouTube link into the submission form on the Wishpond contest page.

Prizes:
Finalists: One finalist from each age group (MS 6-8, HS 9-12, and college undergraduate through final year.) will be selected to attend the private VIP Inductee Reception, Thursday March 20, and Induction Gala, March 21, 2025 (both in Denver). Each finalist will receive gala tickets for you and a guest.
Grand Prize: Winner will receive $1,000 and their featured video shown at the Gala.
2nd Runner-Up: Winner will receive $500.
3rd Runner-Up: Winner will receive $250.
Submission Deadline:
All submissions must be received no later than January 1st, 2025.
Contest Guidelines
Eligibility:
Open to students from 6th grade through their last year of undergraduate study.
This contest is open to Colorado Students Only.
Videos must be original, not previously published, and each participant can submit only one entry.
Submission Requirements:
Videos should be uploaded to the student’s personal YouTube Channel, and submitted to our contest platform (Click Here).
Videos must clearly identify and explain the achievements of the inspiring woman, demonstrating her connection to CWHF values.
Content: Use storytelling techniques to engage viewers and link personal inspiration to historical or contemporary role models. Integrate curriculum insights about CWHF Inductees. How well does the video highlight a CWHF Inductee and stick to the contest theme? Does the video grab atttention and keep viewers interested throughout the video?
Judging Criteria: Videos will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, clarity, and adherence to the contest theme and curriculum integration. Is the storytelling fresh? Are there any creative elements that stand out? How’s the production quality? Is the video clear, with clear sound and editing? Does it meet the length requirements (2-5) minutes and follow all the contest rules?
Ownership and Usage Rights:
Participants retain ownership but grant permission for their videos to be used for promotional purposes related to the contest and CWHF.
Publicity and Promotion:
Contest organizers may feature and promote selected entries on their
website and social media.
Code of Conduct: Entries that include harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material, or content that does not align with the contest values, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the organizers.
